緬甸再釋44名政治犯 預計年底全數釋放

緬甸總統顧問拉茂睿（Hla Maung Shwe）今（11）日宣布，緬甸政府再度釋放44名政治犯，這是繼上個月15日釋放69名政治犯後，緬甸政府最新一波的政治犯特赦行動。

根據法新社報導，拉茂睿對外宣布，在緬甸總統登盛（Thein Sein）簽署特赦令後，共有44名政治犯在今天被釋放。而人權組織統計，目前緬甸仍有約100至150名政治犯仍遭監禁，登盛也承諾，將會在年底前，釋放所有政治犯。

據統計，自從登盛就任緬甸總統以來，已經釋放了數百位遭受軍政府監禁的異議分子，並著手進行許多改革，包括同意反對黨領袖翁山蘇姬參加國會議員補選，並且成為國會議員，西方國家眼見緬甸逐步開放，也進一步解除對緬甸的多項制裁。

不過，也有部分社運人士認為，緬甸政府依舊持續迫害異議分子，並透過釋放政治犯的方式，來換取與國際社會談判的政治籌碼。
