《美國經濟》10月芝加哥PMI大爆發，增幅30年最強

拜訂單指數暴漲所賜，10月份芝加哥採購經理人指數(PMI)由前月的55.7躍升10.2點至65.9，不僅完全比下彭博社調查預估的55，且寫下逾30年最大增幅紀錄。

製造業在美國GDP所占比重為12%，PMI指數若高於榮枯點50，代表製造業景氣呈現擴張，反之則為衰退。連同10月在內，PMI指數已連續6個月高於榮枯分水嶺，且一舉攻佔2年半新高，意味著美國製造業擴張動能似乎已完全甦醒。

芝加哥供應管理學會(ISM)31日公佈數據顯示，最令人驚豔的新接訂單指數由58.9暴漲至74.3，為2004年10月來新高；生產指數升至71，為2011年2月以來新高。另外，就業指數由53.2上升至57，為4個月新高。
