國防部：基隆巨石 不宜採爆破處理

基隆市北寧路山坡上的巨石搖搖欲墜，引發民眾與地方政府緊張，希望由軍方出面，利用爆破方式將其炸下山。國防部對此表示，爆破風險甚大，建議另覓工法。

國防部發言人羅紹和說，陸軍工兵部隊已經對巨石進行現場勘查，估計其重量約有40至50公噸，下方岩壁也已經過高度風化，而且經過連日大雨，現場土石含水量已呈現飽和狀態，若採取爆破手段，其震波效應恐將造成更大規模之土石崩塌，波及範圍無法估計，可能危及周邊民宅、商家，因此建議妥適研擬工法施作。
