【綜合報導】厄瓜多外長表示「厄瓜多政府收到史諾登的庇護請求，史諾登請求維基解密協助保障他的安全，一旦史諾登抵達厄瓜多，政府將會正式處理他的請求。」

消息傳出後，美聯社引述一名官員的話指出，美國已經撤銷史諾登的護照，不過這名官員不願公開身分，表示他們沒有被允許公開討論這件事。
