英國與歐盟關係惡化！英國前財政部長Nigel Lawson為文抨擊歐盟的金融交易稅(Tax on Financial Transactions)提議。他痛批新稅悖離常理、難以接受，根本是要懲罰銀行家，把金融業驅逐出歐盟境外。

BBC和彭博社30日報導，Lawson替政策研究中心(Centre for Policy Studies)的新研究撰寫引言，文中砲轟金融交易稅將重創倫敦。他說全球只有兩大世界級的金融中心：倫敦和紐約，歐盟為了滿足私慾，意圖把金融業趕出倫敦、造福紐約。
